Joel M. Janik, 47, 2517 Rice St., Stevens Point, died Monday, June 30, 2003, at St. Michael's Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, with the Rev. Al Jakubowski officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home until the services. Mr. Janik was born Jan. 24, 1956, in Milwaukee, a son of Leander Janik and the late Audrey (Gromowski) Janik. He was employed with the Stevens Point Area Public School system. Survivors include one daughter, Ashley Janik, Hancock; his father, Leander Janik, Milwaukee; and one sister, Laura Karnats, Milwaukee.
