50th Class Reunion
Posted Wednesday, August 2, 2023 02:21 PM
It's time to look ahead and plan for our 50th class reunion in 2024. Old classmates and friends together again. Let's create some interest and excitement now. Talk it up with those classmates you're in contact with.
I am seeing how this forum works, so I will leave my message short.

More news to follow. Ken

Thanks Ken"ny" Tae, Mark Mallet and I are working on potential sites and dates. Highly likely we're talking about mid October for a 50th gathering. Nothing formal, but at a venue that can facilitate conversations among classmates. More to come in the upcoming months.

I have shared news of this with  best friend who had to move after sophomore year who would be interested. On another note, I need as much notice as you can, as timely as you can, to make travel plans.

Thanks to the team for working on the reunion options.  I'm just posting my opinion whichi is in no way a criticism, so please don't take it that way.

I'm not a real baseball fan so all of those options are not appealing and I don't think would give classmates an opportunity to mingle while sitting in the seats.  I know some of the games are just add ons, but just my opinion.

As for fox and hounds... for those of us who live on the south end of Milwaukee county and beyond, that would be a 1 hour drive one way... a little too far after consuming some alcohol.  I know a hotel stay could be arranged, but for just a diner I don't think the expense is justified.

So, with process of elimination, the Brown Deer option remains.

I apollogize if this offends anyone, it was not intended... this is just an explanation of why I did not vote for any of the options and I felt the committee needed to know.
