He was born on August 14, 1955 in Milwaukee to John and Delores (nee Shoemaker) Lex. On November 20, 2002, he was united in marriage to Debbie Soliz in Las Vegas.

Larry worked as a machine maintenance technician at Western States Envelope Company in Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Lex of Milwaukee; son, Jim Lex of Glendale; step-son, Blake Cissa of Neenah; mother, Delores Lex of Jackson; sister, Diana (Daniel) Hurley of London, KY; three brothers, Gary (Margaret) Lex of Waukesha, Tim (Chris) Lex of Grafton, and Tod (Annette) Lex of West Bend; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Lex.
