Spiess, Lynn M. (Nee Wahlers)

Loving mother and wife, avid animal lover, beautiful gardner, creative scrap booker and sunshine fanatic, found peace on July 13, 2011. Her love lives on in husband Ron; children Andy (Kathleen) Spiess, Scott (Kim) Spiess, Katee (Evan) Spiess, Joel (Dan) Spiess and Kinsey (Michael) Schneider; and constant canine companions Murray and Walli. Lynn joyfully reunites with Joyce and Elmer Wahlers, her parents, in Heaven. I have know Lynn from grade school (Lancaster) to high school.  I remember her mother liked plays, so Lynn brought in  a play, I think in 5th grade for some of us to do.  Lynn of course was the main character which I remember was really great!  I was a silent extra.  We always spoke on face book and e-mails.  I amy sorry for your loss, she was a beautiful person!

Lynn was a wonderful friend.  I met Lynn in H.S. and we hung out all the time.  I spent many weekends at her home overnight.  After graduation, we hung out together.  I was with her when she met her future husband.  We both went on to have large families (5 children each).  During that time we got busy with raising our families, but reconnected at church/school.  After that when Lynn became ill, we communicated via the computer until Lynn was no longer able to do so.  We celebrated our birthdays within a week of each other so there was another "closeness"/bond.  I will miss Lynn and know she lives on with her beautiful family.  Love, Marie

I knew Lynn from English class. She was into envirionmental and social cuses even then. She asked me to go on a marathon walk with her one Saturday. She had done this kind of thing before, so she was up for the 20 mile walk, but I almost collapsed by the time I made it. I will miss her.
